Some of us (me) have highly developed and entrenched views of which nle is the worlds best by a clear mile or more. When you started flirting with Resolve, I thought “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. Or something like that.
But, add another sound of a jaw dropping loudly on the carpeted studio floor!
    Ouch.

      Keith:

As you well know, “best” is a very squishy term. I like all three NLEs that I write about – each is strong, but in different areas. I edit in all three of them every week.

But, yeah. Resolve has features that closely border on magic.

Thanks for the update on Resolve 20 Larry.
Grading an indie feature in Resolve and without the Magic Mask, I would have to spend a lifetime making secondaries. I haven’t upgraded to v20 yet, as I am hesitant to break something. Always something to learn.

    • Larry says:

      Brad:

Agree. Don’t upgrade in the middle of a project. Resolve 20 is nice, but color in Resolve 19 is still amazing. Finish your project, then upgrade.
