SESSION DESCRIPTION

The color capability of Premiere Pro continues to expand. If you’ve been wondering how to read video scopes, what the Lumetri color tools do, what the latest AI features are, or how to use the new color workflow in Premiere, this session is for you.

Presented by Larry Jordan, this starts by defining the basics, then takes you deep into color correction and grading. We’ll also look at how to use Match Color to match shot, keyframe color changes and explore the new color workflow for log and RAW media in Premiere.

This session includes:

  • Define fundamental color terms and concepts
  • How to read and modify video scopes
  • The new AI-powered Auto Color tool
  • How to use Lumetri Color panel settings
  • When to use saturation vs. vibrance
  • How to create specific color looks
  • How to make primary and secondary color corrections
  • How to adjust skin tones to make faces look “normal”
  • How to use masks and tracking
  • How to use the new color workflow in Premiere

Color grading is a vast subject. Premiere has powerful tools to help you take your images to the next level. This session shows how they work.

NOTE: This session won’t cover grading HDR media in an HDR timeline because viewing HDR requires HDR compatible monitors and is not supported in the GoToWebinar interface.

AUDIENCE LEVEL

This advanced-level session benefits from knowledge of how Premiere works, but we’ll teach you what you need to know about color.
